 They say everything happens for a reason, but I think that's just a nicer way of saying there isn't such thing as a bad decision. Don't get me wrong, there are some doozies, but we always learn from them. Now, I'm not saying I made a bad decision staying in San Diego at all. In fact, despite the financial and emotional hardships that went along with trying to find a new job and keep up the bilss, I learned a lot about myself. Even better, I met Shawn. We've been together almost 3 years now, and we're doing great! We met in a bar, so you can find more than just a good time there. Shawn was a law student at Thomas Jefferson School of Law when we met, and as I write, we're waiting for his Bar results. It's been a long time. We live in Hillcrest, a nice, little neighborhood north of downtown San Diego. We love it here. It is close to restaurants, stores, and many a bar. Good to have those within 'stumbling distance' from time to time... |
